Kaley Cuoco is a new mom embracing new trends. At the Los Angeles premiere of her new Peacock series, Based on a True Story, on June 1, the actor wore an all-black ensemble featuring a 2023 Cannes Film Festival trend: the peekaboo bra.

The Emmy nominee wore an all-black ensemble from Michael Kors's fall 2023 collection that displayed just a peek of her bra underneath an oversized single-breasted blazer. She paired the piece with a pleated, car-wash midiskirt and black pointed-toe heels. Cuoco added some pops of color to the all-black look with an emerald necklace and bright red nails. She wore her grown-out dark blonde hair down, with her signature curtain bangs parted in the middle. For makeup, Cuoco wore dark eyeliner and soft, light pink lipstick.

Cuoco also shared the look on her Instagram grid writing in the caption: "🔪 Based On a True Story 🔪 premier last night 🩸In one week start the bloody binge fest on @peacock ! I hope you ♥️ this show as much as we loved making it! Thank you glam! Wearing @michaelkors @bradgoreski @jamiemakeup @hairbymarilee"

At the Cannes Film Festival in May, the peekaboo bra trend was worn by the likes of Scarlett Johansson and Irina Shayk. Their take looked a little different, though, with the tops of their bras peeking out above a strapless-illusion cut. Cuoco's peekaboo situation, meanwhile, was something we’ve seen before—a visible layering choice for a low V-neckline.

Kaley Cuoco welcomed her first child, a daughter named Matilda, whom she shares with partner Tom Pelphrey, in April. Her newest series, Based on a True Story, premieres on Peacock on Thursday, June 8. Here's the show's description, per Peacock:

"A real estate agent, a plumber, and a former tennis star seize a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to cash in on America's obsession with crime and sordid events."

In addition to Cuoco, the series stars Chris Messina, Natalia Dyer, and Tom Bateman.
